Ann Gish and the Art of Home is best known for exquisitely detailed, finely made bed linens. Founded by Ann Gish in 1991, her products can be found in the finest home stores, specified by leading interior designers, and featured in hotels world-wide. Her designs are in the homes of many celebrities and have also appeared in film, TV, and on Broadway.

The practical elegance of her design has affected the way beds and bed accessories are presented in the marketplace today. Our designs rely on elegance that is easy and pleasurable to live with, achieved through a marriage of form and function. It is luxury created for and enjoyed by the senses. In 2012, Ann achieved her ultimate design dream of opening a beautiful home furnishings store in the Flatiron district of NYC. It stocked everything she created as well as anything she wanted to sell. It was nominated as one of the 25 best home furnishings stores in the country. Many of the photos on this site were taken in the store. After the store’s closing in 2019, the company reopened a NYC-based showroom in the New York Design Center.

In 2015, Ann developed a new bridge line called The Art of Home. This incredibly well-price group of duvet sets, coverlet sets, sheeting and decorative pillows is beautifully made with the same quality as the Ann Gish line in more affordable fabrics. In 2016, Global Views licensed Ann Gish for furniture in the D’argento and D’oro color ranges for beds, cabinets, chairs and vanity desks. In June 2018, the Ebony & Ivory Ellipse collection was launched to further acclaim. Further collections are slated to be introduced in Fall 2020 and Spring 2021. Ann was born and raised in New York City and Southern California. She has lived in France and London and in a restored sugar plantation in Barbados that was originally built in 1712. In August 2019, Ann passed away after a private battle with cancer.

Her husband David and daughter Jane are running the business from the company’s new corporate home in Massachusetts. The team of sales reps is led by National Sales Manager Derrick Ricketts. The company’s excellent team includes a Massachusetts-based warehouse crew, New York showroom manager Rebecca Morhaim, and e-commerce manager Chiara Phillips.
