Shipping Procedures

As a small business, Opulence of Southern Pines makes every effort to ship orders of in-stock merchandise in a timely manner. Typically, orders will be shipped on weekdays excluding holidays. Orders are commonly shipped via FedEx, UPS, or the United States Postal Service. However, other providers may be used if appropriate.

If your order contains backordered items, you will be notified immediately and provided an estimated lead time for order fulfillment. Please note that lead times can vary widely depending on several factors, including vendor, item type, season, and product popularity.

All orders totaling over $500 are shipped with a signature required upon delivery. If you prefer to waive the signature requirement, please make a request in the comment section of your order. Be advised that you will assume full responsibility for any issues that may arise once the package is delivered to its destination.

Domestic Shipments

Customers receiving shipments within the contiguous United States are subject to flat shipping rates based on order total (see chart below). Standard shipments should be expected to arrive 5-8 days after the order has been shipped.

Expedited shipping methods may be requested at checkout for additional fees. Customers can leave a comment on the order specifying desired provider and service. Please review the details of the expedited shipping services from your chosen provider. If appropriate, Opulence of Southern Pines may decline to ship orders via expedited methods.

International Shipments

Customers receiving shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, American territories, or internationally will have their shipping charges calculated manually after checkout. During checkout, a $200 shipping charge will be placed on the order as a hold until the final cost is determined. If the final charge for shipping is less than the hold amount, you will be credited the difference and your order will ship when ready. If the final charge for shipping is more than the hold amount, the customer will be contacted for approval to bill the difference.

Please note that Opulence of Southern Pines does not bill for or pay customs duties for international shipments. Customer assumes all responsibility for paying these fees upon receipt of merchandise.
